The owner and the staff here truly do care about their customers and the quality of service that they deliver. They have been more than helpful in explaining the reasons as to why particular maintenance items need to be done to a car. They definitely have just earned a life long customer.

In one word untrustworthy. They really take advantage of your lack of knowledge and force you to believe that you need such and such service. They charge you big. My past visit was really my last visit.

We are very sorry you were not happy with our service here. We always provide our customers with all of the information for the repairs that we are recommending as well as why we are recommending the repairs and or services. As far as our prices here, we may be a bit higher than other shops in the area however we stand behind all of our services and offer a 2 year/ 24,000 mile warranty or 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty on parts and labor which is a nation wide warranty that moves and travels with you. We hope you will give our shop another chance in the future.

We had a wonderful experience with this repair shop while passing through Richmond. We decided to stop and see Belle Isle with our three small children on our way to the mountains. Unfortunately after our visit our car would not start. After much effort a AAA technician was able to get it started, but we weren't sure what was wrong. I called Williams Auto Service after finding it on a quick Google search. The receptionist assured me they would be able to diagnose the issue quickly and most likely fix it that day. We drove straight there and sure enough a tech was able to get right to it and diagnose the problem. After a quick (& relatively inexpensive) fix we were on our way to the mountains for our trip. We felt like this shop was knowledgeable, accommodating, honest, friendly, and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Williams Auto Service!

This auto service sits on the corner of Cowardin & Semms avenue. Always packed. Get in early or try another day. Diverse area here. Dollar Store on corner across the street. The area could use a make-over but you have commercial services mixed with residential in the City of Richmond.

Brought them my Porsche Boxster and they did a great job fixing it up. Replaced the fuel pump, fuel sender, gas tank etc... They were very professional - Matt and Corey. Prices were good and everything was smooth.

Went there to have my state inspection done. They dont let you see what theyre doing to your car even though you're paying them. That's enough reason not to go there

We are sorry that you did not have a good experience when you came in for inspection. However I confused about hearing that you weren't allowed to see what was going on with your car. We cannot allow customers to stand in the shop while our technicians are working due to our insurance policy but we do offer to let you come out escorted by a technician to see anything that we have found on your vehicle. We hope that you will come back and give us another try.

I don't even want to give this autoshop a 1 start to be honest. Came in for an oil change and state inspection and they told me one of my break light is out so I agreed to have it replaced so the car would pass inspection. Then I call Toyota immediately after since I just picked up the car from their collision center and was told I won't get reimbursed for that light bulb that way I have to back to Toyota and have them replace it. I hung up the phone and notified the guy that I don't want the bulb replaced. All of this took place in less than 3 minutes and he told me that the guy had already put the bulb in and they can't take it out since they will have to charge me for the labor of taking that bulb they just put in out. Unbelievable I have never heard of a place that does that. Long story short I am now out 30$ since I can't get reimbursed from Toyota. All because the labor has been done for the part where they replaced the light bulb. Will never go back here again. What a horrible experience

I have been taking my car here for the last two years for everything from oil changes to tires to more serious work. I think they are honest and won't try to rip you off. They have always given me extremely accurate estimates and called if anything would change. It usually takes them a few hours to one day to finish the work, which is excellent. The prices are fair and they have seasonal specials.
