Heartless people just want your money typical crook mechanics

Super friendly and super helpful. They fixed my car within 24 hours and even offered to allow me to tow my broken down car to the shop and leave it overnight. The front desk is very polite and the mechanics were careful to explain everything that was wrong with my car to me in detail so I could understand. I just moved here, so I’m not sure how their prices compare to other mechanics in the Richmond area, but they definitely do good work. Highly recommend. Update: These guys really do great work. I had a transmission issue a month after my first review of Williams Auto Service on here and they made the time to get me in the garage again ASAP so I could have my car back for work as soon as possible. The receptionist was super nice and helped gather information on the phone to make sure everything was fixed right too. I thought my car was completely toast... but they got me back on the road quick and for a decent price. Highly recommend because of their customer service and speed. Local small shop but still professional and timely. They’ll take care of you if you can get your car over to their lot.

As a broke single mom living in Richmond, VA, you can imagine I wasn't rolling in a perfect vehicle. I had, however, managed to find a neat little Audi for just a few thousand dollars. Good service

Williams Auto is one of the most honest businesses you could ever work with. I'd taken a vehicle to them and another shop, and they once offered to fix a problem they hadn't caused - it turned out to have been the other shop. They were the ones who offered to fix it, though. When we had a friend's vehicle in for major repairs, they called us and asked to do the engine work *first* because if it turned out to be a more expensive job it might have put things out of her price range and they didn't want her on the hook for suspension work on a car she couldn't drive. They actively look for ways to save their customers money. Mechanics can be worrying, and folks who don't know a lot about the mechanical workings of their vehicles will worry if they're being ripped off. But I can tell you from experience that this shop operates with honesty and integrity.

The mechanics and even the manager Tanya were very friendly and helpful. I liked how they were always willing to show me whatever the issue was with my vehicle and giving me advice on how I should go about rectifying the problem.Also, the prices are definitely fair and they are more than willing to help out in regards to paying for the services done. I really appreciate their consideration for students, military, and even those who are in need of help.
