I came in to get a state inspection for my car and although they did have same-day service and allowed me to wait in the waiting room until my car was inspected I was rejected for an inspection sticker because of my brakes and tires. I had already been informed that my brakes were not in complete new condition previous to coming to William‘s auto service, customer service was awesome but when I was told that it would cost almost $1200 to do they full maintenance and $800 to replace tires and brakes at minimum, it was very unsatisfying. But had been told that they were not in need of immediate attention when I looked at the tires the tires were balding so I replaced the tires. after replacing the tires, I took my car to Honda service center to be re-inspected without the brakes, and they had informed me that the brakes may require future attention but we’re not bad enough to fail. I didn’t learned that William‘s auto service was trying to upsell me into getting work done with them and I wonder with the is that they told me the untruth how many other people they would also do the same to there was a woman waiting with me in the waiting area and I’m pretty sure they charged her as well saying she would need something to pass her inspection. I would be very cautious receiving service from this place and always if you do go get a second opinion.
Hello Tory, thank you for letting us know how we are doing. We are sorry to hear you are upset with your inspection results. The vehicle failed for steel cord visible /low tread on all 4 tires and rear brake pads below spec. The technician working on your vehicle is our most senior technician and has over 20 years of experience. "Up selling work" also doesn't affect his pay. If you have any further questions feel free to give us a call at 804-230-3051.
