Come here because its so close and they could use that to their advantage but they are always clear in explaining the issue and are more than fair in their pricing.

Such a great experience here! I came in for a tire patch due to a screw being in my tire. I was helped immediately even though I was a same day walk in…less than 2 hours before closing. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful to me and several other patrons that came in while I was waiting. My tire was not punctured after all, but the staff removed the screw and did not even charge me for the service. Very courteous and quality business! I will bring my car here again!

I came in to get a state inspection for my car and although they did have same-day service and allowed me to wait in the waiting room until my car was inspected I was rejected for an inspection sticker because of my brakes and tires. I had already been informed that my brakes were not in complete new condition previous to coming to William‘s auto service, customer service was awesome but when I was told that it would cost almost $1200 to do they full maintenance and $800 to replace tires and brakes at minimum, it was very unsatisfying. But had been told that they were not in need of immediate attention when I looked at the tires the tires were balding so I replaced the tires. after replacing the tires, I took my car to Honda service center to be re-inspected without the brakes, and they had informed me that the brakes may require future attention but we’re not bad enough to fail. I didn’t learned that William‘s auto service was trying to upsell me into getting work done with them and I wonder with the is that they told me the untruth how many other people they would also do the same to there was a woman waiting with me in the waiting area and I’m pretty sure they charged her as well saying she would need something to pass her inspection. I would be very cautious receiving service from this place and always if you do go get a second opinion.

Hello Tory, thank you for letting us know how we are doing. We are sorry to hear you are upset with your inspection results. The vehicle failed for steel cord visible /low tread on all 4 tires and rear brake pads below spec. The technician working on your vehicle is our most senior technician and has over 20 years of experience. "Up selling work" also doesn't affect his pay. If you have any further questions feel free to give us a call at 804-230-3051.

Lied about inspection and possibly lied about my repair. I took my car in for an inspection and I was told over the phone that my right tie rod was loose and because of that my car would fail inspection. About a month & 1000 mi prior to that I had them do a post-buyer inspection where they found no issues with my tie rods whatsoever. I found it odd that a new problem came about but when I checked the tie rods myself it was evident that there was absolutely no looseness or play on my right tie rod. They wanted to charge me 400 to fix it and another 130 to realign the car because they thought I wouldn't know what to look for to repair it myself which I ended up not needing to do at all. The staff was really friendly but I guess that's how they lower your guard

Hello Christian thank you for taking the time to review us. Tie rod play no matter how minimal unfortunately does not pass due to the severity of a failure. We do however agree it looks suspicious when we looked at the vehicle 1000 miles prior and did not find tie rod play. At the time there was no play found, that doesn't mean that it wasn't so slight it got over looked. The vehicle also failed for a wiring problem or multiple bulbs out in the right rear tail light assembly, those were also working during the pre buyers inspection. A 1000 miles is also quite a bit (especially on Richmond roads) and we cannot be held responsible for things that happen after it leaves here nor can we predict the future. My recommendation would to have another State Inspector look at it as a second opinion. Based on the way we pay our technicians there is no reason for them to lie. It would not affect their pay in any sort of way. If you have any more questions I would be happy to talk to you about it further. Our phone number is 804-230-3051. Sincerely. Matt
